Yes, I lost my job due to outsourcing, I worked for a newspaper, The Sun Journal in Lewiston, Maine. I was a graphic designer. They laid off 6 of the 9 person design team and are outsoucing all our jobs to a firm in Pennsylvania. The 3 people they kept on have the most seniority, and they moved them into other positions. I am 62, and it’s going to be tough for me to start another career all over again. I instead took an early retirement. But this is not the way I wanted to do it.
