America vs China

Tons Of Virus Tests From China Are Faulty All Over Globe – Just Proves You Shouldn’t Buy From China

There is an old lesson in sale of junk coronavirus kits to Spain and Czech Republic. While you can find quality products made in China, there are known differences in quality. That is on top of the many other reasons to buy Made in America.

Faulty Coronavirus Tests Sold to Spain

“There’s a lesson in Spain’s discovery that at least 9,000 coronavirus test kits it bought from China as part of a deal worth several hundred million dollars are defective. Testing kits are desperately needed in Spain, which has the second-highest death rate in Europe. More than 4,000 Spaniards have perished from the coronavirus thus far. Unfortunately, these test kits had just a 30% accuracy rate when 80% is the minimum expected standard.” – wrote on Tom Rogan on Washington Examiner.

He continued “China is predictably playing down its culpability here. The Chinese embassy in Madrid is claiming that Spain’s health ministry is to blame for buying goods from an unapproved vendor. But the excuse doesn’t add up.”

Studies performed on the tests in Spain which discovered the high error rate caused the Spanish Society of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology to recommend officially that the tests not be used. There are estimates that 70% of the test kits purchased by Spain are too innaccurate to be used to diagnose patients.

In all, Spain has bought $467 million in medical supplies from China, including 950 ventilators, 5.5 million testing kits, 11 million gloves and more than half a billion protective face masks.

Up to 80 percent of the 150,000 portable, quick coronavirus test kits China delivered to the Czech Republic earlier this month were faulty, according to local Czech news site

“During a crisis staff meeting held for the Moravian-Silesian Region by regional hygienist Pavla Svrcinova, the error rate for the test kits was found to be 80 percent, prompting officials to suggest they only be used for those persons who are nearing the end of their quarantine and never previously tested positive.” Taiwan News reports.

Svrcinova added that the tests yield both false positive and negative results. “We tested those who searched for a sampling point. Fortunately, we were so farsighted that samples were immediately compared with traditional tests, and that just proved the error rate of the [Chinese rapid] tests.

The Czech Republic is standing by its purchase, arguing that the kits do work and methodological errors are to blame for the high error rate identified by the doctor.

Standards in China Allow for this

The Chinese government has launched an investigation into company behind faulty coronavirus test kits sold to Spain.

Chinese government regulatory group announced Friday that it is investigating Shenzhen Bioeasy Biotechnology, the company accused of selling faulty coronavirus kits at marked-up prices to countries like Spain and the Czech Republic in desperate need of them.

These problems are not simply with a single vendor, nor an isolated issue. Every year, the toxicity and problem rates ranging from dog treats, to medical devices, to food have issues.

The faulty tests are NOT some scandalous revelation and were undoubtedly an error, but that doesn’t excuse the issue.

China has significantly lower standard of working conditions than the Western world, and their quality and regulartory standards are sometimes non-existent. This is NOT a problem caused by the Chinese people. It is caused by a lack of regulations, independent third party testing organizations prevalent in Western economies, and a lack of transparency from the government.
